API tokens — choose the accounts and actions you allow

Create an API token that permits only selected accounts and actions without sharing your UUP password or social account credentials with an external client. Compatible clients can transfer videos into UUP's existing auto-upload and Auto DM features.

How to use it

1. Open Settings → API tokens and enter a token name. Connect a channel first if no accounts are listed.
2. Choose allowed accounts and actions, pick an expiry of 30 days, 6 months, 1 year, or Never, then select Issue token. Reading is included; video transfer and draft saving, publishing and scheduling, and automation settings are separate choices.
3. Copy the token shown and enter it in a compatible client. Select Hide token after storing it securely.
4. If you need it again later, select Show token in the list to view the same token. You do not have to issue a new one when setting up a new device.
5. To change the allowed accounts or actions, select Edit in the list. The form above fills with that token's settings and value; change what you need and select Save. The same token applies from the next call, so you do not have to re-enter it in the client.
6. When you stop using a token or it is exposed, select Revoke token on the same card. Revoked tokens disappear from the list.

Transfer automatically to multiple accounts from Selvi AI

Select multiple accounts on Selvi AI's UUP transfer screen and set the post copy, visibility, and Auto DM for each account. Review them together to transfer the video to each account in order, with acceptance and actual publishing shown separately. If a transfer fails, accepted tasks are preserved and you can resume the remaining tasks.

You can also send a thumbnail you have already created to supported channels. Instagram Reels and regular YouTube videos support this; YouTube requires the channel's custom thumbnail permission. YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Threads, and Facebook do not receive a separate thumbnail through this integration. Thumbnail transfer is independent of the one-second video intro setting.

Good to know

• You can have up to 5 valid tokens with up to 10 accounts per token. Expiry is 30 days, 6 months, 1 year, or Never, with 6 months as the default. A token that never expires stays valid until you revoke it, so revoke it right away if it is exposed.
• Only valid tokens can be edited. Revoke an expired token and issue a new one.
• Show token works for tokens issued on or after September 12, 2026. Tokens issued earlier cannot be shown again. Instead, select Regenerate token value in the edit form to keep the accounts and actions and create a new value. The old value stops working immediately, so enter the new value in your client.
• Tokens do not extend your plan or platform permissions. Auto-upload requires Upload Pro, Ultra, or a trial; Auto DM follows the existing DM plan and account requirements.
• Videos use the existing Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Threads, and Facebook Page publishing features. Keyword DMs are available for Instagram and Facebook Pages; TikTok Business comment rules use a separate Business account. TikTok Business rules apply to account-wide comments, not one video.
• Issuing a token does not publish anything. Confirm each video's content and execution in the client. TikTok inbox delivery requires finishing publication in the TikTok app.
• Revocation or expiry blocks subsequent API calls but does not cancel accepted scheduled posts or automations. Stop those separately on their UUP task screens.

Selvi AI can also register one product card on a selected UUP shopping page with the product title, Coupang link, and verified thumbnail. Different videos can go to different channels without duplicating the card, while Instagram and Facebook comment-to-DM automation remains visible as a separate UUP status.
