Auto-upload videos can now be up to 3GB and 1 hour
We raised the video limit for auto-upload from 300MB and 30 minutes to up to 3GB and 1 hour. Long lectures and raw footage you used to shrink first can now be scheduled as they are.
What it does
- Higher upload limit: Upload a single video up to 3GB and 1 hour long.
- Each channel has its own limit: Instagram, Threads, and Facebook have lower limits of their own, so the screen tells you the moment you pick a channel or save.
- Pair it with extra storage: Uploaded videos use your storage. If you run short, add more with the storage add-on (in 100GB units).
How to use it
- Go to Dashboard > Auto-upload and press Create a post.
- Pick the accounts to post to and upload your video.
- If the video exceeds a channel's limit, the screen tells you. Remove that account, or shrink the video and upload it again.
Good to know
- Video limits by channel:
- Instagram Reels: 300MB, 15 minutes (at least 3 seconds)
- Threads: 1GB, 5 minutes (including videos inside a multiple-photos post)
- Facebook Pages: 300MB, 20 minutes
- YouTube: 3GB, 1 hour — under YouTube's policy, a channel that hasn't verified its identity on YouTube can't upload videos longer than 15 minutes.
- TikTok: 3GB; the length limit differs by account (follow the value TikTok reports).
- An upload must finish within 1 hour of starting. For large videos we recommend a stable Wi-Fi connection (about 7Mbps average or faster for 3GB). If the connection drops, you'll need to upload again from the start.
- Large videos can take a few minutes to be checked after uploading.
- Videos use your storage too. If you run short, a "Not enough storage" notice appears, and you can add more with the storage add-on.
- Auto-upload is a feature of Upload Pro and Ultra (trials included).
