Add an AI-generated disclosure to Instagram posts in auto-upload

The Instagram settings in the auto-upload editor now have a Disclose AI-generated content switch. Until now it existed only for YouTube and TikTok, so when you posted the same content to several channels, Instagram got no AI label. Now you can add the "AI info" label to Instagram posts too.

What it does

  • AI info label: Turn it on and your Instagram post gets an "AI info" label.
  • Photos, Reels, and multi-photo posts: For multi-photo posts, the label applies to the whole post.
  • Sent only when on: When it's off (the default), nothing is sent.

How to use it

  1. Go to Dashboard > Auto-upload and press Create a post.
  2. Pick an Instagram account to post to, and the Instagram settings open below.
  3. Turn on Disclose AI-generated content and schedule as usual.

Good to know

  • Turn it on when realistic scenes were created or meaningfully altered with AI.
  • Facebook Pages don't have this setting because Facebook doesn't accept AI disclosures through auto-upload (the API). If a post needs the label, post it from the Facebook app with the AI label turned on, or say in the caption that it was made with AI.
  • YouTube and TikTok disclosures are still turned on separately in each channel's settings.
